We speciaise in the niche market of traditional Cornish art, and always hold works by many of the distinguished and highly collectable artists who worked in the world-renowned colonies of St Ives and Newlyn.
We help many of our clients to build collections of art based on their preferred style, subject and artist(s). We are always pleased to discuss individual artists or painting styles, with a view to helping you start a collection that has both aesthetic and medium/long term investment potential. We can advise you as/when suitable works become available, either at auction or from our private vendors.
Many factors are important when considering a purchase. Whilst the name (artist) is important, it is by no means the main element. Subject, style, age, condition, quality, and provenance are all equally important, and of course the single most important reason for buying a painting must be that you like it!

We offer FREE delivery within mainland UK. We can obtain competitive quotations for shipping elsewhere.
Art Exchange
We are pleased to offer a unique art exchange scheme whereby you can exchange or part-exchange any painting purchased from us for a painting or paintings of your choice at any time in the future. All purchases since January 2007 are eligible, and you may exchange/part-exchange your painting for works of similar or higher value.
Lay Away Scheme
Many of our customers often find that they cannot immediately fund the purchase of the piece they like at the time it is available. We have therefore decided to offer an extended credit scheme, whereby customers can purchase items and pay over a period of time to suit themselves. Full details here...
On Approval
Our "on approval" service is available for most* works and allows you to hang a painting in your own home and ensure that it fits in with it's new environment before you purchase it. We would require a deposit (refundable) and allow you to have the painting for a period of 14 days before deciding whether or not to complete the purchase. Should you wish to keep it you would simply pay the balance, and if you wished to return it we would arrange collection** and refund your deposit. This service would be subject to discretion and some ID/address checks, but in most cases would be quick and easy to arrange.
* This service is not available for some works entrusted to us by private vendors.
** Please retain the original packaging in the event of a return.
