From Newlyn to Lamorna

From Newlyn to Lamorna is an exhibition of paintings by artists associated with the early Newlyn School and pre-WW1 Lamorna Group. The exhibition is a collaboration between two galleries and will be "fluid" as paintings will be changed during the show. One of the highlights is a series of Lamorna paintings by Eric Ward, one of Cornwall's leading contemporary artists.

Richard Hayley Lever

At the Dock, St Ives. One of Hayley Lever's sublime studies of St Ives painted soon after his arrival in the town (1902). These delightful studies, rich in colour and texture, inspired future generations of artists in St Ives, including the young John Anthony Park. Signed.

Lever's paintings and drawings are in numerous collections throughout the United States, Europe and Australia, including the Metropolitan Museum, New York, the Phillips Memorial Gallery, Washington DC, and Sydney Art Gallery, Australia.
